New year, new digs.
India Ink has outgrown its current location in cyberspace and is starting fresh in its new location at http://basia.typepad.com/india_ink/
Click here to check it out now!
Don't worry, only the location is changing. Rest assured that India Ink will continue to bring you the same witty, mesmerizing commentary and spectacular images you have grown accustomed to. ;o)
Please change your bookmarks to reflect the new location. The old site will be available for a while, but I won't be making any more updates here. I will be migrating a few key entries, but most will remain as archives at the old site.
Unfortunately, I'm not able to migrate the subscriber mailing list to the new site. If you were a subscriber to India Ink (if you received email notifications when there was a new blog entry), please resubscribe to the mailing list at the new site.
Come visit me in my new home, and check out my first entry there: Year 2008 In Review.
Signing up to the new site was so easy and instantaneous...but I didn't see
the Commentators on the new site. I revisited it and the Grammy entry you
did...and laughed all over again from the commentators....loved seeing the
faces again. Can you still include it on the new site?? Everyone looks so
happy. Shron
Sharon: Glad to hear that it was easy to subscribe on the new site.
Maybe that will encourage others to do it! I actually did include a link to
the Commentators entry on the new site, but it was #51 on the list, and it
was set to display only 50 items. I've fixed it now, you should be able to
see the link. I may migrate the whole entry to the new site at some point,
but it's a big job because there are so many pictures to re-upload, so it
probably won't be immediately.
Didn't realize how labor intensive the new blog would be...wouldn't it be
nice to be able to simply transfer from one site to another...I can't
imagine uploading all those photos again. I give up sometimes because the
data transfers but the software no longer runs on the new computer! Of
course I had to ask about #51! And I remember Jane & her cousin, who was
visiting from Texas, the sportscamerman! And my first tarot reading! Sharon
