Meet the Commenters

posted Wednesday, 2 March 2005

Over the past year, 50 of you wonderful comment-ers left a total of 470 comments on this blog. Many of you seem to enjoy the comments as much as the blog entries. And many of you have asked about each other:

"Where do you know Maya from?"

"Was that your sister who left that comment about...."

"Is Shannon someone you work with?"

You all know who I am, and I know who most of you are -- but you all don't know each other. So here, listed in alphabetical order, is a brief introduction!

You can click on Read comment to view a sample comment from each person. To view comments that were left on the blog board (rather than inline with a specific entry), go to the blog board at the bottom right of the screen.

Hello fellow commenters,
I'm one of Basia's sister, and I would like to put out the word ( or challenge) to this very steller group. Basia is going to turn 50 on April 16 of this year. Since we all can't be together to help her celebrate, I'd like to make two suggestions/requests.
1.Basia has been trying to decide what she should do to mark this special event in her life. Let's brainstrom and give her 50 suggestions.
2.Can we have a virtual party on that day on this blog?

Thanks for including me in your list, even though I rarely comment! I thoroughly enjoy reading about your adventures, however. All is well with ImageOut in Rochester, but if you know anyone with an extra $25K we'd appreciate the gift and would give lifetime admission to our film festival!! Big Hugs!

Maya is an old old old friend of mine. I've been after her to get a blog, but nice to see she's on display here on your blog :) She had told me about you, and I've been a lurker here at your blog ever since. I also used to be the South Asia editor at Blogher, and your blog came up in discussions every now and then. Great going, Basia, your entries are truly enjoyable.

Take care Priya
